Packing, packing, packing ..telling kids off, packing, packing, pac..telling kids off, packing...telling kids off, pac...telling kids off - does anyone see a pattern in this lifestyle?
Life around the jenkinson household has been somewhat unsettled since holidays began. Children are of course excited about christmas, while mum and dad are just wandering how they can afford it.
An odd phenomenom that we have discovered about packing is that no matter how much you pack away, more magically appears! I suspect that we may even begin to discover those odd socks and favourite old shirts that seem to have mysteriously disappeared during the course of habitation in one place. Of course when it comes to toys there is no better way to make a toy into your child's new bestest and mostest favourite by trying to give it away. Screams of, "But I love THAT toy!" illogicaly outweigh parental arguments of, "You haven't played with it for 2 years" or, "It's broken." Coupled to the fact that ALL children have a sixth sense for when their parents may be attempting to remove ANY toy that they once owned, packing is a slow process -must go - children to tell off.....
......does anybody know the number for laboratories that do medical experiements?
But dad, butter wouldn't melt in my mouth.
