It may not be Rome but we are making sure that we enjoy some of the unique offerings of Canada. This Elk sausage is quite superb and well worth the $20 paid for it. Ash can't get enough of it. It tastes like a strong flavoured mettwurst. We have also tried Moose sausage which was cooked on a BBQ and offered with no explanation. It's interesting to note that I thought "interesting" and different in flavour until told it was Moose - then I was not so sure about it! Now I know how people from OS must feel when we give them kangaroo without letting on what it is. The moose was nice, but once I knew what it was......?
