The San Diego Zoo is world renowned and for very good reasons. It cost us a fortune to visit for one day over $US150, but it was truly worth the money. I have never visited a zoo where the animals all seem to pose for photographs. It was a sign of how relaxed the animals were and the proof is in the number of successful breeding programs that the zoo run.
