Knotts Berry Farm the disneyland alternative in LA

We hadn't heard about this place until wew were chatting to some locals in San Diego and read some brochures about it. I was so glad that we did as it was a better option than Disneyland for a number of reasons. Firstly, the cost was less than half that for Disneyland. Second, the lines were so short that we rarely waited for rides and lastly there were plenty of rides and activities.

The following collection of pictures are from our day at the park.

Bandits on the train.

Dodgem cars were a favourite of mine.

The girls pose with some local characters.

Ash and Jill prepare for the ride.

Yes. They went to the top and dropped. 100 metres straightdown!

The Silver Bullet goes upside down too.

The day was a success for everyone, and great aspect was that we could simply walk across the road from the park to our hotel.
